"Paradisviken" translates to Paradise Bay, a fitting name for such an idyllic spot. The beach provides a family-friendly area for sunbathing and the sheltered calm waters are ideal for swimming. The surrounding area includes rocky outcrops and forest, so there is plenty to explore if the beach life gets too relaxing. Directly on the beach is a classic beachside kiosk called "Ragnar's". Along with refreshments, you can hire kayaks, rowboats and SUPs from here.

The historic windmill is believed to have been constructed around 1722 and is one of only a few remaining in the Archipelago. It was most recently renovated in 2009, but the mill has had an unusual and surprising history over the years. Worth investigating!

Absolute insider tip... 🤫 The way there is private and closed with a barrier, also because it is a nature reserve. Accessible only on foot. Caution: ☝️You should be sure-footed, because this is not a tour for flip-flops or non-terrain people! That is probably one of the reasons why there is no reference anywhere and always think of the commonsense.. Simply a wonderful place..
