A free ferry (vägfärja) operated by Trafikverket runs between Hörningsnäs and Mörkö throughout the day, generally every 30 minutes. No booking is required — just arrive and board.

This statue has stood at Slottsbacken in front of the Royal Palace in Gamla Stan, Stockholm since 2018.

Very interesting and educational! A small museum that you can take your time with... it's worth taking a guided tour. I particularly liked the short films that portray the 16 Nobel Prize winners. A little dry, but the significance of the Nobel Prize as an institution becomes clear! And definitely pay attention to the ceiling...

Karl XIV Johan (1763-1844) ruled Sweden and Norway from 1811 until his death. The equestrian statue was created by the artist Bengt Erland on behalf of Karl XIV Johan's son in 1854 to mark the 40th anniversary of the union of Sweden and Norway.

In 1891, the first opera house was demolished because it had become worn out and too small. An architectural competition was held for a new building in 1887-1888, which was won by the Stockholm architect Valfrid Karlson (1855-1935). However, the design by Axel Anderberg, who had taken second place in the competition, was chosen for implementation and was implemented from 1892 with the significant involvement of the civil engineer Axel Lindahl (1858-1934).
