One of Sweden's few cathedrals, built in the Gothic style in the 13th century, the interior is simply decorated and sublime in its Gothic architecture. There is a lot to discover at the pulpit and the grave monument of Erik Soop in the left aisle. Colonel Soop was very successful in the Thirty Years' War and thus received the privilege of being buried in the cathedral by the king and the parish.
