An atmospheric shelter/rest hut. In good weather, take advantage of the outdoor benches around a fireplace. Next to the hut a small stream flows providing a water source. There is also an emergency telephone in the hut.

A spacious hut with an open fireplace in the hut. The hut is ideal for overnight stays in emergencies, as there are several large wooden benches/beds. There is a fireplace with seating outside the hut and a toilet nearby. In the immediate vicinity of the hut there is a stream with a gradient and very small water steps, so that fresh drinking water can be refilled here for the rest of the hike.

Rest hut where you can find shelter when it rains. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside on the benches that are placed around a fireplace. A small stream flows right next to the hut, from which you can get fresh drinking water for further hikes. There is also an emergency telephone in the hut.

The ski stadium on the Idre Fjäll is the starting point for numerous ski trails in this ski area. From 2.5 km to 18 km, classic or skating technique, there is something for everyone. There are also illuminated trails ("lätt spår") here, so you can go cross-country skiing in the evenings after sunset. Just follow the signs (colored diamonds) of the trails and respect the direction, then there is nothing in the way of winter sports.

In winter, the forest around the Nipfjäll turns into a winter wonderland. Meter-thick, the snow lies between the trees, the branches bend under the white blanket and no human trail bothers this fairytale image. In the nature reserve Städjan-Nipfjäll you will experience Middle Sweden's nature in its most original form.
