Kotkanpesävuori is a rocky outcrop from which you can experience stunning panoramic views of the surrounding forests and lakes. As you sit and watch the views change before you take a moment to appreciate the house-sized boulders beneath your feet and the powerful glacial forces that would have dragged them there.

At this bridge over the Pankajoki you'll be bathed in the peaceful sound of the water and the reflections of the trees that create a perfect spot to take in the natural beauty of the area.

This view of Lake Hanhilampi offers you a serene glimpse of nature, with its calm waters reflecting the surrounding forests. This peaceful spot is perfect for a quiet break, whether you're hiking through or simply enjoying the scenery. Depending on the season, you might spot waterbirds gliding across the lake or autumn colors painting the shoreline.

The Ohenvuoren Näköalapaikka is a stunning viewpoint along the trail. From here, you’re treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding forested landscape and the serene waters. The lookout provides an excellent opportunity for a moment of reflection or to snap a few photos of the scenic surroundings.

The Keronlahden Keittokatos is a cozy shelter located along the Häkkilän Retkipolku—Eteläinen Reitti trail. Situated by the peaceful shores of the lake, this shelter is a perfect spot to rest and enjoy a meal while soaking in the natural beauty around you.

Take a pause here on your hike and you will sit among boulders as big as the shelter itself. These majestic rocks infuse this rest area with a sense of calm and safety sitting among the forest.

The Neitvuoren reitti trail offers breathtaking viewpoints showcasing the stunning Lake Saimaa archipelago. The most famous is the Neitvuori summit, but along the trail additional rocky outcrops provide stunning vantage points, especially during sunrise and sunset. As you climb this is one of three viewpoints that make the challenging ascent worthwhile, offering some of the most scenic landscapes in the region.
