Vuokatinvaara is a scenic viewpoint in Vuokatti, offering wide views over forests and lakes from two platforms. The first is easily accessible by car, while the second, an observation tower, requires a short walk past the radio mast and ski lifts. In summer, a small café near the summit is open daily from 11:00 to 17:00. While in winter, the viewpoint platform and tower are located within the Vuokatti Ski Resort's slopes, so you need to pay attention and avoid interfering with skiers, as these structures are not maintained during the snowy season.

Make your way to Lehmilammen Kota, a cozy wilderness hut located by the peaceful Lehmilampi Lake. Surrounded by tranquil forests, you can take a break during your hike here at this sheltered spot—offering you a perfect place to enjoy a warm fire in the hut, or stay outside to take in the serenity of the lake and the surrounding woods. It’s a great place to relax, soak in nature, and recharge before continuing your journey.

Keima Peak rewards you with sweeping views over the wild landscapes of Kainuu. The trail climbs through rugged terrain, passing rocky outcrops and wind-bent pines before opening up to a breathtaking panorama. From the summit, you’ll peek out over endless forests, spy distant lakes, and rolling hills stretching to the horizon.

Perched on a narrow cape extending into Kitulanlampi Lake, this tranquil lean-to shelter and picnic area offers the perfect spot to pause and take in the scenery. Whether you're stopping for a short rest or settling in for an overnight stay by the water, it's a peaceful retreat amidst the wilderness.

Hiidenportti Gorge is the heart of Hiidenportti National Park, where towering rock walls give way to a landscape of shady spruce forests, vibrant meadows, and tranquil woodlands. As you hike through this unspoiled Finnish wilderness, you'll experience a rich tapestry of nature in serene solitude.

There are two lookout platforms. Lower direct at the parking lot. There is also a very small cafe open during sommer time 11am to 5pm. To reach the second platform (tower) you have to pass the radio tower and Skilifts.
