The (almost) centuries-old Galiana Spring is part of the history and traditions of the older population, who still remember their parents and grandparents collecting water and washing clothes in the tanks, and it continues to gush water (not officially approved for consumption through regular tests) and is sought out by the population. Its waters have gained a reputation for giving vigor and youth, inspiring poets such as João Rodrigues Delgado Júnior: “Indifferent to the world around it, as simple as it is graceful, there stands almost halfway up the hill, peering out at the river, the beautiful Vila de Praia do Ribatejo. Its identity is now unknown, but the friars of the Convent of Loreto used to pass by there to satisfy their thirst. There is certainly not a living soul within many miles of it who does not know or has not heard of the Galiana Spring.”

The Tagus Panoramic Trail practically always runs along the right bank of the Tagus, between Vila Nova da Barquinha and Foz do Zêzere, in Constância. It includes the Almorol Trail and the Constância Trail. This riverside route, much used by mountain bike lovers in the region, has been considerably improved with the construction of walkways, bridges and viewpoints that allow you to enjoy magnificent panoramic views over the Tagus River. This route is part of the Great Route of the Tagus (GR12), which in turn is part of the great European Route E7, an ambitious pedestrian route still under construction, which aims to connect Lisbon to the Black Sea, in Romania.

Pedestrian trail, but that can be done by bicycle (MTB recommended). In rainy weather it can be difficult to do. Depending on the degree of experience, in some small sections you may have to dismount and push the bike. The trail runs along the mouth of the river Zêzere, on the opposite bank to Vila de Constância. It's very shady and nice to do. This trail is part of the Tagus Panoramic Trail, which in turn is part of the Great Tagus Route (GR12)

Bridge accessible to cyclists and offering a magnificent view of the Tejo.

This famous templar castle is on a little island with a very commanding position and to visit you have to book a short boat ride. The castle itself is small but very impressive and exceptionally well preserved.
