Peso da Régua is located at the crossroads of two large monuments, the EN2 and the EN222, both of which are heavily traveled by cycle tourists, especially the EN2 and in summer. This pedestrian bridge has an exceptional view over the Douro River and the wine region, connecting the EN222 to the city center and the urban park along the river.
