Monumental Roman bridge, built at the end of the 1st century AD, with a horizontal paved deck 117m long by 6.70m wide and a maximum height of 8.4m, consisting of six round arches, each with 33 identical voussoirs with a diameter of 8.95m per arch. The support is made of robust pillars resting on powerful foundations and a well-constructed system of niche-shaped openings and drains in the deck for safe water drainage in case of flooding. For about two thousand years, until the beginning of the 21st century, it served as a crossing over the Ribeira de Seda on the EN245. It was classified as a national monument in 1910 and is currently closed to traffic.
