Quite narrow and wouldn't recommend in large groups! Road surface is also not the best anymore, but I prefer this path a lot as alternative to the main road!

Fort Voordorp is part of the New Dutch Waterline that is located between Utrecht and De Bilt. The fort was constructed in the period 1867-1871 east of Utrecht.

The Panbos consists of forest with some sand plains in between.

The Beerschoten estate is located near the city of Utrecht. With winding ponds, a flowing stream, meadows with groups of trees and old avenues, it is an attractive walking area. The adjacent Houdringe consists of forest and open grassland. There are oaks and beeches whose trunks have a diameter of more than one meter. The trees 'walk' at the edge of the drifting sand plains in the Panbos. The wind has blown away the sand between the roots.
