The quarry lake near Bodenwerder is considered to be extremely rich in fish. Eel, perch, carp, pike, bream, catfish and zander live here. Guest anglers can purchase fishing licenses from the Bodenwerder fishing association. Of course, a break at the lake is also worthwhile for non-anglers.
