The Töpferstein stands on the Suhorn. The Suhorn is 108 meters high. The memorial stone is a large boulder. It is dedicated to Alfred Töpfer, who was chairman of the Nature Park Association for many years. The stone stands next to the hut, where information panels still provide information about Alfred Töpfer, the mountain, and its flora and fauna. The hut offers shelter, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful view of the heathland even in bad weather.

The bronze statue, mounted on a boulder, is a visible symbol of the Lüneburg Heath and is located in the center of Bispingen. Behind the statue, there's an information board about the Heidschnuckenweg, a hiking trail that runs from Celle to Hamburg.
