It served as the parish church as long as the local population settled in the mountains. The original floor plan dates back to the 11th and 12th centuries. The presence of the renowned painters Cristoforo and Nicolao da Seregno is documented in the 15th century.

If the snow line drops, there will be snow on the Moleno Valley side, and it won't melt away quickly (the sun doesn't even shine in October).
