Not certain what this is exactly, but I'm guessing it's some kind of biking club with mud hills.

Ledston Luck Colliery, located near Garforth, has a rich history dating back to its establishment in the 1870s. Initially part of the larger Selby Coalfield, the colliery became notable for its unique winding houses, built in 1911. These houses were among the first in the country to use electric winders, a significant technological advancement at a time when most other mines still relied on steam power. The colliery produced coal from several seams, including the Beeston, Flockton, and Silkstone seams. During the Second World War, the colliery was temporarily mothballed but later reopened and renovated by the National Coal Board (NCB) in the 1950s. The site saw extensive modernization, including new headgear, a new pit bottom, and improved underground transport systems. Ledston Luck Colliery closed in October 1986, and much of the infrastructure was dismantled. However, the winding houses were preserved and listed as historical monuments by English Heritage. The site has since been partially converted into a nature reserve, providing a habitat for local wildlife and a glimpse into the area's industrial past. For those visiting, the colliery's remains offer a fascinating insight into the history of coal mining in West Yorkshire. Be sure to wear sturdy footwear due to uneven terrain, and note that there are no on-site facilities.
