Children and neighbors from Schöneiche have been working on the nearly 100-meter-long park wall of the Little Spreewald Park, creating handmade ceramic reliefs. A special highlight featuring a dinosaur can now be found at the entrance. Awarded Germany's Most Beautiful Street 2013

The small, standard-gauge tram runs from the Rahnsdorf S-Bahn station to the Woltersdorf lock, 5.6 km away, and has been in operation for 112 years.

The simple hall church (around 1800 probably a plastered brick building in Baroque-Classical style) on the market square (1903–1920: Friedrichsplatz) was succeeded in 1903 by the much larger St. Christopher's Church, due to the significant increase in population. On November 13, 1972, the tower of St. Christopher's Church was destroyed by Hurricane Quimburga. The falling gables killed a 64-year-old woman and tore 25-square-meter holes in the church's roof and vault. To temporarily secure the tower, the spire was secured with steel cables. The spire, which was in danger of collapsing, was demolished three days later and replaced with the gable roof structure that still stands today.

Goethepark is a park in Schöneiche near Berlin. With an area of 1.7 hectares, it is the fourth largest park in the city.

The train station is the starting point for walks in Friedrichshagen and for trips to and on the Müggelsee. From here you can hike to the Erpetal or take the tram to Schöneiche or Rüdersdorf and hike from there or visit the small Spreewaldpark in Schöneiche or learn interesting things about the extraction and processing of limestone in the museum park in Rüdersdorf.
