On the hill near Eglfing on the way towards Uffing and Staffelsee it is worth stopping to admire the fantastic views.

The Catholic parish church of St. Martin is in Obereglfing. A St. Martin's church is mentioned in the Eglfinger Heimat- und Volksbuch as early as around 807/808. Since Eglfing was a closed Hofmark, it could have been a church owned by von Egolvingen. Today's church comes from the late Gothic period and was baroqueized in the 18th century.
