At the very end of the Eistobelweg there is a small reservoir.

A steep root path leads to the small, quiet reservoir. The "Große Nagelfluhwand" rises more than 50 meters vertically into the sky. We were there in July and the water has a wonderful, bright color.

The chapel, built entirely of wood, was built in 1929-1930. The then owner of the Pfändealm, Anton Reichart, had made a building vow if his sick wife Anna and their 11th child, Johann Jakob, survived. Later, Theresia was born as the 12th child, named after this Theresienkapelle.

The Pfände towers high above Bregenz. Reachable by the Pfändebahn or on foot, it offers a brilliant view of the wide Lake Constance. At the top station of the cable car there is a wildlife park and several inns.

The last 150 meters in the gully are tricky (at least for me). Beautiful platform with an overview board at the top. It goes down perfectly diagonally across the meadow.

The Eistobel is worth a visit in summer and winter, but in winter only with suitable equipment and sure-footedness! There are a lot of icy areas, especially at the waterfalls.

Anyone who visits the Pfänder summit should not miss the Theresienkapelle.

Restaurant is not recommended. It has plenty of space and a nice view, but the food isn't really good. You also pay too much for it. But it is very nice on the Pfände. It has a small zoo that is very nice. There is also a great playground for the children.

A lovely little chapel that blends in beautifully with the surroundings. She just fits in a place like that. The last time I visited the door wasn't locked, don't know if it's always like this. Anyway, the interior is quite interesting. (Or does anyone in this country know Saint Judas Thaddeus?)
