I usually do road cycling, but on this sunny day thought i would have a goo at this course as not far from home. Took some getting used to before attempting advanced courses. Ut was a great thrill

Small but fun skatepark

Starting from the forestry commision car park, hed over the bridge and turn right. This will give you several options for forestry trails and if you head towards Lynford you can then pop on to the road for a short trip to Browns cafe.

Beautiful route, wide but with little traffic, that descends through the woods towards the village of Santon in the valley of the River Lark.

Good views from the higher ground with a fast drop down on a generally empty road.

The Stanton Downham Bridge was built during the first world war as a rail bridge to transport timber and logging machines. It's been a road bridge since about 1922. The bridge crosses the Little Ouse River.

Cafe and dining venue run by local coffee roastery, Silver Oak, with large, covered outdoor space as well as indoor areas. Ample bike parking and cleat-friendly surface make for a great group ride stop.

The road across the flats of Grunty Fen, between the higher ground of the Haddenham ridge and the Isle of Ely.
