Nice local cafe that's a good option for a mid ride cafe stop. Good coffee and cake selection and a very friendly team.

Discover the wilds of Cavenham Heath with acres of stunning heathland and woodland landscapes, superb in late summer when the land turns a beautiful shade of purple as the heather starts to bloom. The heath offers walking 3 trails; a Woodland Trail which is a very peaceful easy access route, a Heathland Trail which is more adventurous but offers wonderful views across the Lark Valley and a Wetland Trail, a more demanding route alongside the River Lark. There are no facilities at Cavenham Heath

Nice off road Byways farm tracks - in Summer dry weather conditions - don't know what it's like in Winter wet weather - suspect likely to find mud and large puddles.

The Venice of East Anglia!

Farm shop, deli & cafe, right on the Icknield way. There's outside seating and they were happy for us to fill up water bottles from the outside tap.

Not the most scenic location on a light industrial estate but a good option in an area of limited choices.

Ideal gravel bike route.

Medieval packhorse bridge beside the ford over the Kennett at Moulton. Still in use and bikeable (with a shallow step at each end of the bridge).

Burgers and chips as well if you really need to refuel - maybe save that for after a bike park visit.

Independent community coffee shop with great range of cakes (many gluten free) as well as pastries, toasties, etc. Open every day except Mondays
