The Brother Franz House on Kreuzberg in the Bavarian Rhön, named after St. Francis of Assisi, is a special place of spirituality and experience. This historic and listed building from 1687 is one of the oldest on Kreuzberg and has developed into a real hiking highlight. Visitors to the Brother Franz House not only find spiritual peace here, but also a unique opportunity to adjust their technical devices. The geodetic reference point at the house offers hikers the rare opportunity to calibrate their altimeters to ensure accurate measurements during their hikes in the Rhön. In addition to the spiritual dimension, the house itself also offers cultural experiences. Regularly changing exhibitions take place here, including nativity scene exhibitions in winter. These exhibitions enrich the Kreuzberg experience and offer visitors a deeper insight into the local culture and history. In addition to the cultural and spiritual significance, the surroundings of the Brother Franz House are an attraction for nature and hiking enthusiasts. The Kreuzberg, known for its impressive landscape and the Franciscan monastery, offers numerous opportunities to stop off, enjoy and pause.
