Due Haardmühle Münnerstadt is located in a remote location, between Brno and Poppenlauer

The valley church is an idyllic spot. Large trees and the newly restored Crucifixion group and many benches to rest. The bike/hiking trail leads directly past. Had the opportunity to visit the interior of the church again for a long time yesterday. Beautiful altar and in the back thanksgiving dolls from the 17th and 18th centuries. A 🕯 for all concerns can also be lit. In May there was probably a bicycle service. There are still blessed stickers for the bike to take away.

The baroque pilgrimage church to the "Holy Cross", popularly known as the "Talkirche", was consecrated in 1716; the previous building was first mentioned around 1360. According to a legend, its construction goes back to the vows of two farmers. They are said to have been surprised by a violent storm while they were harvesting and found themselves in an extremely dangerous situation with their heavily laden vehicle. Frightened, they promised to build a chapel to Our Lady in the valley if they returned home safely with animals and wagon.

That's really fun again.

A very special place with a special charisma. You don't even have to be religious; you just have to get involved with it and you'll feel it!

A picturesque place, the valley church is also very popular for weddings.

It's best to go on a tour with the simple, flowing but beautiful trail that runs parallel to Talkirchenstrasse eastwards in the forest. My tip coming from Münnerstadt/ Jörgentor via the Käppele up to the cross. Continue over the Münnerstädter panoramic view and the Wachholderweg down the trail, parallel to the train tracks to the left and slightly uphill again. At the fork, turn right down to the road and then immediately left again on the next field path until you then turn right again into the forest path and continue to the valley church. Then towards Talbauer for refreshments. Further options towards Bad Kissingen or back via the Mörstertrail to Münnerstadt.
