The present parish church was built in 1900, after the previous church was closed in 1898 due to dilapidation and – with the exception of the tower – demolished.

A stop is almost a must. A great destination or stopover.

There isn't that much on offer in the market itself. Around Aidenbach, however, there are historical sights that you can explore.

Pfarkirche St.Agatha in Aidenbach

Aidenbach is a market in the Lower Bavarian district of Passau as well as the seat of the administrative community Aidenbach and a state-approved resort. The place is known from the Battle of Aidenbach in 1706, which broke the last resistance of the revolting Bavarian peasants against the imperial Habsburg occupation.
