The round mountain is an elevation above the Maisen valley of Bad Urach, which forms a unit together with the Hohenurach, the Urach waterfall and the slide rocks. The round mountain tends to lead a shadowy existence - this may also be due to the fact that you don't have a view of the valley from the clearing on the mountain, which is a bit of a shame. Advantage: since the mountain is not climbed as much, it is not as crowded as the Hohenurach or the waterfall.

The environmental youth hostel Bad Urach is located below the ruins of Hohenurach Castle, on the way to the Urach waterfall, surrounded by forest and meadows. The youth hostel Bad Urach was reopened in October 2011 after extensive modernization and expansion and was certified as the second environmental youth hostel in Baden-Württemberg.
