The waterfall in Frederiksberg Gardens is an artificial cascade built to embody the romantic style of the English landscape garden. It is a picturesque feature, standing about 7 meters (23 feet) high. Originally constructed with materials like marble blocks, it was left in ruins for many years but was reconstructed in 2004 to restore its original charm. It adds an element of scenic drama and motion to the park's tranquil canals and winding paths.

There is a digital sign at the cycle path on the bridge counting the cycle traffic. In 2022 there was 42'000 cyclists crossing the bridge on every weekday in average, which makes it to one of world's busiest cycle pathes.
