The Drachenwand (Dragon Wall) rises prominently and is visible from afar as a striking rocky ridge in the Salzkammergut region. It is particularly famous for the Drachenloch (Dragon's Hole), a naturally formed rock window just below the summit, which lends the place its special charm. The name originates from old legends: according to one tale, the devil abducted a cook through the hole.
