There's a story 😊 According to a local hiker... A local nicknamed Jackson discovered that the peak had no name, hence the name Jacksonstein. Jackson or his friends also took care of the schnapps in the summit book... That's how it's been handed down 😉 Berg Heil🏔️

For experienced mountain hikers, it is a great ascent in the Gamsluck'n, mostly on all fours, with fantastic views from the summit to the Totes Gebirge, Dachstein massif, and Höllengebirge.....

A wonderful recreational area and excursion destination with views of the Traunstein and Katzenstein mountains. The Ramsaualm offers excellent self-service catering. There are several hiking trails to choose from that lead to the lake.
