The path along the old railway track is very overgrown, muddy and in parts one is walking in a stream for a good distance. Wouldn’t recommend it.

A fantastic view point which can be admired from the bike or you can take a short detour onto a trail to visit more closely.

Proper stop on loops out to Brent Tor or Lydford. The nobbly top of this tor is visible across south Dartmoor, and the church on top is open from Easter Sunday for services.

A beautifully quaint part of the country and such a nice spot to include on a run.

Great food and great service. Nice outside seating with bike racks.

Historic covered market, in beautifully restored building. Great for browsing, all sorts on offer, good when the weather's wet (which is fairly frequent 😉).

There's a great permanent exhibition in here - good social history. Free, and well worth a visit.

Maintained as part ofvthe Viaduct Path. Good views out over Tavistock. You can see the Tors of Dartmoor from here, on a clearer day!

Lovely valley in either direction. Descending gives a view not dissimilar to looking down a valley in the lakes or the Brecons
