Cassiobury Park is a beautiful green open space near Watford featuring picturesque canal walking, ornamental gardens, and a stunning variety of flora and fauna. There are plenty of idyllic spots to picnic, or there is an on-site café serving up delicious drinks and food. To reach some of these facilities, you'll have to stray off the riverside path slightly.

Grade 2 listed Bridge is steep and narrow

At the point the Grand union is a good ride; wide enough and smooth enough for quick progress. Further north however...:-S

when going North its easier to approach the bridge , incline not so steep . However, approaching South is alot harder, take a wide turn. Beware of people joining the South Side as its next to a residential area

This bridges the River Gade

Look out for the matching half-timbered nesting box on the lock keeper's cottage.
