There are a handful of these wooden sculptures dotted around Oxhey Woods. There are a number of interconnected trails, short and slightly longer, and the kids wil love it.

The sculpture trail is a 1km, easy access, circular route that begins and ends in the car park. It's a great one to do with kids as it keeps them entertained the whole way around!

Merry Hill was acquired by the Woodland Trust in 1996. Lots of trees have been planted to create and extend Little Hartsbourne Wood to the south of this path. There is also an area of fruit trees. This path crosses the area and feels like a nice get-away from the busy urban areas that surround it. There are nice views from the higher areas across the open access land and over the city.

Some wonderful sculptures throughout these woods. They are very easy to miss so keep an eye out or look at the Komoot highlights. At this spot you'll find the (not so easy to miss) armchair and television. Great if you're hiking alone and fancy a spot of lunch whilst catching up with your favourite show.
