It is a nice pub with a big beer garden that has a place to lock your bikes up. Good selection of beers and a relaxed atmosphere.

Just so nice to be in nature.

Whitwell is a charming village located near Harpenden in Hertfordshire. Stop at the Bull Inn for a refreshing drink, or visit Emily's Tea Room and grab yourself some delicious cakes or coffee.

Good single trail track through Knocking Hoe wood. Suitable for MTB and gravel bike, the surface is really good and not too rocky.

Fantastic bridleway and gravel path through stunning fields and farmland. Mixed surfaces but all passable on any bike types as long as the weather hasn't been too bad recently. If in doubt, knobbly tyres are the way to go.

Nice coffee and flapjack. Lots of roadies, I was the only MTB!

Lovely valley view with fields on either side. A very quiet road that's a pleasure to ride.

there were some very big ruts along track some good gravel sections, a good long gravel hill passed a gravel push bike and a Motocross bike. one section VERY narrow
