The Bright Star is an excellent pub with garden to sit out. Check it is open as not open on Monday and Tuesdays.

Good park with shadows lots of trees, great walkways or cyclepath

Ayot Greenway is a wonderful off-road link out of Welwyn Garden City toward the Chilterns, which can be subsequently combined with The Nickey Line.

It is a nice pub with a big beer garden that has a place to lock your bikes up. Good selection of beers and a relaxed atmosphere.

Nice cafe, only downside is a lack of convenient bike parking.

Nice pub

Pleasant, atmospheric, v old pub, complete with some animal enclosures. Enjoyed a nice meal there.

Mechanic on hand for any bike niggles/issues. Can buy spare inner tubes, lights, even aero bars if you have the space for it! Nice and green, facilities and coffee. Nice stop off for those extra long rides, without having to re-enter traffic filled towns.

Great coffee and amazing brownies. Lots of space for bikes. They also do a good service of bike maintenance, sometimes while you have your coffee!

The centre of Old Knebworth - a lovely place to stop. Views of the house and war memorial, and there's a decent pub also.

Shallow bridge across the river Lea. A great place to paddle on extremely hot days - no better way to cool down mid ride!

there were some very big ruts along track some good gravel sections, a good long gravel hill passed a gravel push bike and a Motocross bike. one section VERY narrow

Very pretty with a handy nice looking pub that I would like visit on a future trip.

The new Marks and Spencer has really good undercover bike parking at the front of the store.

If you are in the area, go out of your way to stop here. The food is great, good outdoor seating when it's nice and cosy inside when it isn't. Bike servicing and build services are also excellent.
