새로운 리히트브루넨(Lichtbrunnen)은 옛 시가지의 원래 중심을 상징하는 약 9미터 높이의 조각품입니다. 1945년까지 호프베르크(Hofberg)는 시장 광장으로 여겨졌으며, 이는 이전 분수대를 나타내는 둥글고 평평한 받침대로 이어집니다. 받침대는 동시에 좌석으로도 사용되며 휴식을 취하도록 유도합니다(사진 참조...). 이 조각품은 Altstadt neu 협회에서 시작하여 Linz AG에서 자금을 지원하고 Tp3 Architekten에서 설계했습니다. 그 효과는 저녁이 되어서야 완전히 나타납니다.

A nearly 9-meter-high steel stele rises from a round granite base, which also serves as a bench. With a clear, coherent, top-class building, created by the Zurich architects Weber & Hofer, Linz has had an art museum of international standing since 2003.
