Dyrham Park is a baroque English country house in an ancient deer park near the village of Dyrham in South Gloucestershire, England.

If you want to take beautiful pictures, you should be an early riser! Photos without people are difficult to take. Nevertheless, the way to the ancient place is worthwhile.

Extremely muddy to the point of boggy in winter into spring. East to west you have a hill to deal with so I imagine it's easier in reverse. Have come down here in summer and it's pretty great in the dry.

A small pretty village. There are no shops but it does have a pub, the White Hart on the banks of the Bybrook River next to the bridge.

Hardest part is crossing the road after the climb.

3 small ramps followed by one pretty nasty one. Leave something left in the tank as the climb isn't over when you hit the Hinton Road. Excellent views in spring and dense foliage either side in summer.

Just gorgeous. Foot of the Cotswolds, historic villages, decent surface. From here you can wind through the hills northwest of Bath back to the B2B.

A great alternative to the ring road track. The Pomphrey Hill end is a little muddy in winter, but nothing too bad. The other end is magnificent gravel and the middle compacted hardcore.
