Whether as a stopover on the ascent of the Patscherkofel or as an extra break in the pine forest on the descent, the Hochmahd Alm, at 1,907 meters above sea level, invites nature lovers to take a break during an excursion on Innsbruck's local mountain. You'll find traditional Tyrolean specialties here, as well as cool drinks, and overnight stays are also possible. Opening hours in summer: Monday and Wednesday are closed, Friday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursday until 10:45 p.m.

From here, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view in all directions: To the north stretches the imposing Nordkette massif, its rugged peaks shining in brilliant white or deep gray depending on the season. To the east, the view extends to the gentler hills of the low mountain range, dotted with dense forests. To the south, the panorama opens up to the majestic Stubai Alps, while to the west, sunlight plays over the vast fields and forests surrounding Natters. The meadows surrounding the Eichhof are a true natural paradise. In spring and summer, they shine in lush green, interspersed with blooming wildflowers and fragrant herbs. Butterflies dance in the air, and the buzzing of bees lends the surroundings an almost meditative tranquility. In autumn, the landscape transforms into a vibrant sea of gold and red tones, while in the morning hours, wisps of mist often gently settle over the fields. In winter, the entire landscape is covered in a thick blanket of snow – a magical setting where you can fully enjoy the tranquility of nature. Whether hiking, strolling, or simply relaxing in the Eichhof's beer garden – the surroundings invite you to unwind and take in the impressive Alpine panorama in all its beauty.
