a magnificent view of the valley

It's not exactly a summit, but it does have a summit cross, which actually has that name 🫣. It's an important waypoint nonetheless.

The Ludwigsburger Hut (formerly Lehnerjoch Hut) offers a great view over to the Kaunergrat and down into the valley. There is a playground for children in front of the terrace. In summer there are a total of 52 beds in rooms and dormitories. The winter room can accommodate up to 14 people. You can find all the information at https://www.ludwigsburger-huette.at/.

From the mountain station, it only takes 15 minutes to admire the beauty of creation from the summit cross of the Hochzeiger. A beautiful path also leads from here to the Sechszeiger. If you don't want to walk downhill, you can easily return from the Sechszeiger to the middle station with the chairlift.

Great hut with a great team! The food is excellent and also ideal for larger groups

Climb from the middle station takes about 3 hours. From Hochzeiger it takes about 2 hours, but you should be sure-footed and free from vertigo, as the path from Hochzeiger to Groaßsee is very narrow and steep in places. The view from Gemeindekopf is highly recommended :)
