The Schwarzsee is open to the public, with walking paths and several places to enter the water. During the summer season, a section of the Schwarzsee is closed off and designated as a swimming and recreational area. This area features a diving board, playgrounds, a water slide, and a restaurant.

The village square in Kirchberg is the central heart of the town and a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike. Surrounded by traditional inns, cafés, small shops, and the bandstand, it offers a cozy atmosphere in every season. In summer, regular open-air concerts, culinary evenings such as the "Kost.Bar," the traditional Kirchtagsmarkt (church fair), and the popular village festival take place here. Events such as the flower parade in August and the atmospheric Christmas market in December also make the square a cultural hub. The Schwarzsee is a moor lake between Reith and Kitzbühel. With a temperature of up to 27 degrees, it is the warmest moor lake in Tyrol and a popular bathing lake. From here you have a wonderful view of the Kitzbüheler Horn and the Kaiser Mountains.
