The site of the former Ayot Station which burned down in 1948. Today it is a footpath and car park. A few scattered remains can be found, including gate posts and some building foundations. The stationmaster’s house still stands as a private residence.

Edwardian country home of playwright, politician and philosopher George Bernard Shaw, with Arts and Crafts features and collection and a Tranquil garden with rolling lawns, vibrant summer borders, a fruit orchard and Shaw’s iconic rotating writing hut.
