The trail along the River Dart around the Dartington Estate is a wonderful run. It's easy to follow and very pretty, with the chance of spotting kingfishers. It can get muddy and even flood a bit in the winter, but it's still fun.

At the mouth of the Dart in the English Channel, Kingswear is on the east bank and Dartmouth is on the west bank. The Dart flows past Greenway Estate, Agatha Christie's holiday home.
