The Thaler Kogel (1,656 m) belongs to the Hochschwab group and is something of an insider tip among the mountains with great views. There is no hut, but there is a beautiful summit cross, a great view and two benches with tables. You can climb it from several directions.

Only after a wind blow and the subsequent deforestation in the summit area did the Klammkogel become a wonderful mountain with a view.

When the visibility is good, it is a really great mountain. Unfortunately it was relatively cloudy, cold and windy, there was nothing to see.
