Edgehill Castle (Tower) which is now a rather nice pub/restaurant. The castle was built in the 18th Century as a 'sham' castle reputedly on the exact spot where Charles I raised his standard before the Battle of Edgehill during the first English Civil War. Apparently Cromwell got there too late for the battle.

Tough climb, starts off a bit easier, but ramps up further into the climb, so don't go too hard to start with!

A fine example of a Warwickshire town. Lovely old town centre with plenty of options for refreshments.

Decent gradient for the whole climb, just settle in and spin to the top.

Beautifully ornate gated entrance to the Canons Ashby gardens can be seen from just past the main car park entrance.

Best going from Farthingstone towards Litchborough.

A beuatiful climb through the village starts to get uphill by the pub and steepens at the end by the lovely historic church - get to the top and turn left at the crossroads to visit the country park or ride back down to try the Yew Tree Pub.
