Once again, I have no idea what to write. The weather gods were too kind with the temperature, so I walked up a steep path through the shady forest to the Tennenblick Inn. There, I was rewarded with a delicious goulash. I also visited the beautiful ski museum in Werfenweng and was given a private tour by the museum director because I donated about 15 rare ski lesson plans from 1892 to 1925. Hans decided on the type of tour; depending on your preferences, you're sure to find something to look at. Go in, it's worth it; describing the individual areas by season would go beyond the scope of this article. I ate a fantastic trout at Pizzeria Chilly.

The Dr. Heinrich-Hackel-Hütte is located on the sun-drenched south side of the Tennengebirge and offers a panoramic view from its terrace over the Salzburg region to the Hohe Tauern, including the Grossglockner. With a 1.5-hour climb from the Wengerau, the hut is an insider tip for families who can hike and relax in a quiet alpine landscape far away from mass tourism.

The hiking trail to the Sonnseit'n Hochmaisalm is very easy with a moderate incline. The rest are roads and a bit through the woods. But very easy to manage even with persevering children...

On the sunny south side of the Tennengebirge lies the Dr. Heinrich Hackl Hut at 1,531 m in a fantastic location above Werfenweng. From the cozy sun terrace you can look far into the Salzburger Land. The Grossglockner and other summits of the Hohe Tauern seem to be within reach when weather conditions permit.
