Due to a shortage of skilled workers, the Zistelalm is unfortunately only open for events (as of July 2024). A cozy, spontaneous stop at an altitude of 1000 m is therefore no longer possible. That's a shame, because the beautiful place with a view of the mountains offers a holiday feeling in between.

The Zistelalm is a hamlet or mountain inn on the way to the Gaisberg summit. The restaurant is currently only open for events, but that is set to change in summer 2024. You can find more information at https://www.zistelalm.at/.

Alm not far from the summit of the Gaisberg and therefore perfect for a stop on tours on the Gaisberg and on the Nockstein. Delicious regional dishes that are served in a very original way and a unique view of the Alps from the terrace make the Zistelalm the perfect place to stop for a break.
