Fantastic views up and down the River Welland with opportunities to spot sailing boats passing by.

This 15 hectare saline lagoon was created to protect the abundance of fantastic birdlife that resides in this area. There is a bird hide located on the lagoon where you can try your luck spotting some of the local favourites including Black-tailed Godwit's, Brent Geese, and the Hen Harrier.

Beautiful stone monument commemmorating the people who began building of the sea defense in 1936 which now protects 80,000 hectares of vital land. The site sits between sea marsh and wetland providing some superb views as well as bird sighting opportunities.

Two storey bird hide providing excellent views across the river mouth to your right, the Wash in front, and Freiston Shore on your left. Bring your binoculars along and try your luck spotting some of the local rarities including the Alpine Swift.
