This beautiful place has been ruined by euroforest tree felling and not clearing up after the utter devastation they've caused. The personal responsible for the mess should be strung up in this forest for all to see

Bridge over the River Otter, near Ottery St Mary - pleasant spot for a break.

This cave, known locally as 'Pixie's Parlour', is situated on the east bank of the River Otter, near Ottery St. Mary, Devon. Pixie Day is an old tradition which takes place annually in June, commemorating a legend that tells of of pixies being banished from the town to the local caves known as the 'Pixie's Parlour'.

Listed on the National Heritage List for England.

A viewpoint from White Cross car park, with amazing views over the lower lying countryside to the west.

Glorious woodland to walk through, good for bird watching. My partner and I saw a Greater Spotted Woodpecker and a Goldcrest on our last walk here.

At White Cross you’ll find a free, off-road car park with tree cover and remarkable views. Looking west, the entire Otter Valley seems to unfold for your pleasure alone. Patchwork fields in yellows and greens blanket the valley floor and you can see for miles. Mist and low cloud sometimes hang in this valley, allowing you to experience a wonderful feeling of being much higher than you really are.
