Not too far from Borden, this cafe is nice to include as a mid ride stop. Some fast flowing traffic in the area to be mindful of.

Alice Holt is managed by the Forestry Commission and is a popular place for cycling, running, walking and for families. A length of hero gravel runs through the forest which forms part of the Shipwright's Way.

Frensham Great Pond and the nearby Little Pond were originally dug to provide fish for the Bishop of Winchester's Estate in medieval times. The ponds and the surrounding heathland are important habitats for a variety of insects, reptiles and birds. There is a beach and swimming area at the Great Pond.

Alice Holt Forest Cafe serves a good range of food and drink in a vibrant and colourful location. The family-run business prides itself on having green credentials, serving excellent food and creating a wonderful atmosphere. The cafe and is well-equipped with plenty of facilities, too.

12th century St Leonard's Church once stood in the hamlet of Hartley Mauditt, which was abandoned at some time before the 18th century. The remaining clues include the church itself, the foundations of a manor house, and Hartley Pond, which lies opposite the church on the other side of the road.
