Blackmore village is a place to visit they have a great Tea room Homemade cakes made on the premises just across the road there is a little church rumour have it Henry the eighth went there

Fantastic cafe stop in the pretty village of Blackmore. They've got a great menu and loads of outside space, a real favourite of local and London cyclists.

A fine body of water and a good cycling option in the area. Good views on all sides, and plenty of bird spotting to be had.

Pleasant track through the sheep fields with a good surface most of the year round. If it's been raining heavily recently then best to avoid if you're on a skinny tyred bike.

A couple of boggy sections during winter but ridable on road tyres when summer dry. passes large readbeds

Nice place to visit and spend some time.

Great walk along the promenade near Promenade Park. Bargetrust have a number of Thames Barges moored up right next to the promenade. Also number of cafés to visit. Good views across and down the River Blackwater .

I’d suggest only tackling this in the dry. During the winter months it will be underwater in places.
