Be careful that your ride doesn't turn into a longer one than you planned. I made a wrong turn on my Wahoo and accidentally ended up on a ferry to Holland.

Lovely bit of coastline to ride along, especially the eastern half beyond the pier where the road rises up and follows the low cliffs giving views across the water towards the offshore wind farm.

Nice flat, peaceful riverside route between Manningtree and Mistley Towers (the only remaining parts of a demolished church).
