Lovely small church. We happened to visit when they were having a group lunch, and the vicar was lovely enough to offer us some of the fish soup they were all enjoying. We declined as we had packed lunches, but it was very generous of them. They welcomed us to take a look around while they continued their lunch.

A picturesque trail that guides you to Rettendon Common, running alongside a charming stream and offering breathtaking countryside views.

Offering a great chance to get some exercise in a park on the edge of the town. It's a wonderful opportunity to enjoy some fresh air, thanks to its well-paved and clearly marked route. Mixture of woodland in parts and a nice stretch down the River crouch.

South foot entrance to Wickford's Memorial Park, opened in 1949 to commemorate the town's dead in World War Two. Features an avenue of remembrance, a large war memorial at the west end, a playground, cafe, miniature golf course, small wood alongside the riverbank and various sports facilities.
