This section is a remnant of the old path that leads up to the Naggler Alm. A narrow, winding path that offers few views of the lake, but is much more exciting to walk than the wide gravel path. At the end of the path you come out on a meadow from which you still have a wonderful view over the western side of the lake and can watch the chairlift in motion. Two beautiful benches invite you to linger.

The Kohlrößlhütte is a nice hut for hikers who like to come here to strengthen themselves and enjoy the view. The view is beautiful and the cottage is nicely decorated with flowers. Right next to the hut there are small stables for a few animals that live here (pigs, rabbits, ...). The service is very nice and you'll be happy to come back!

Tip for mountain bikers: Buy a 4-hour card, which costs € 23.50 on presentation of a guest card. But you can ride all three Weissensee trails at least 3 times! 😉😀

Whether in between or after biking: you can get some energy here! The view of the lake is absolutely beautiful, and in the inn you can get simple snacks like pizza, pasta dishes or schnitzel. The pump track is right next door, so you can do a few laps here after your break.

The Weissensee cable car transports you and your bike from the valley station at 956 meters to the mountain station at 1,324 meters. The ride in the four-seater chairlift takes around twelve minutes. Beautiful bike trails await you at the top, but you can just as easily go hiking here. A nice destination is, for example, the "Drachsel Bildstöckl" lookout point or the Naggler Alm. In summer, the train usually runs continuously from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In bad weather there is no operation.
