At this cross there are wooden tables and benches that invite you to take a rest. The view over Lake Millstatt is also impressive. ⛰️🥾

The view from this high plateau around the Millstätter Alpe is simply gigantic. In May we still had patches of snow in the sunshine and you feel like you are in another world up there. The dry, short grass crunches with the lichen under your shoes. The landscape seems rough with its rugged rocks, some of which look like barrows and are inhabited by marmots. I felt like I was on a tundra expedition. Wonderful!

Located directly on the magnificent mountain trail with a great view over Lake Millstatt and the valley.

Here a small footbridge leads over a pond - you could also walk around it, but it's much nicer that way. 2 benches invite you to take a break and you can fill up your water bottles with fresh mountain water. There is a great view for free.
